Silk Screen Printing / Back Painting

Proto Glass Studios specialise in glass screen printing using a range of opaque and translucent inks which can be printed directly onto the glass in any RAL or Pantone colour.

Our opaque and translucent inks (ceramic frits) are the most flexible of all our products and the most robust. Fritted glass is fired permanently onto the glass once screen printed and are scratch resistant, UV resistant and suitable for all internal and external applications.

Examples of the opaque ceramic frits range from opaque splash-backs, cladding and spandrel panels, whilst our transparent range of ceramic enamels offer a strong and vibrant colour palette whilst retaining transparency and clarity, allowing light to enter and interact with the architecture; fantastic for screens, lighting and sculptures.
