Jo was asked to design a piece of glass art to a strong design brief for the Northern Ballet School. They wanted a dynamic visual experience from the dance studio from the inside, whilst ensuring that people outside were unable to see in.

Having training in both sculpture and holography, Jo achieved this unique design using a digital coding technique to animate the figures depicted on the glass.

Proto Glass Studios decorated the 2 surfaces of the front panel of glass ensuring they were exactly aligned. This then created a Parallax effect, giving the impression of the image moving as you walk past it.
